The company decided not to renew its lease with the mall, the employee said. Northpark Mall marketing Director Allison Lunsford said the mall will fill the space left by abercrombie and fitch.
"We have been monitoring the situation closely and have a number of new and exciting options for the space that we are exploring," Lunsford said. "As we've demonstrated consistently over the years, store turnover allows us to maintain a fresh, exciting and contemporary retail mix."
The Northpark location was the only abercrombie and fitch store in the Jackson metro area. The store will not be relocating to another location in the area, the employee said.
